A journey that started in March of 2007 one would only imagine how far ORBS,(Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits) has built their reputation as Ohio’s top paranormal team. With well over 400 investigations on the teams resume to date with hunts in 7 different states, from ships to historical landmarks but most important residential homes, the group built a strong following. Featured on every northern Ohio’s newspaper and local news, and displaying their talents on Animal Planet’s series “ The Haunted “, Biography Channel series “My Ghost Story “ plus History Channel’s new series “Haunted History” the drive for diversity for the organization is unlimited.
From a small town located in Northwestern Ohio, Fremont brought two co-workers together. Orbs Founder Chris Page and co-worker Amy investigated what happened to be Amy’s own personal haunting. Not sure who to turn to they both decided to find out what supernatural phenomena was occurring in Amy’s home and Chris began to put together his first case. Realizing how hard this was to deal with and knowing there were not many options on who to ask for advice about this phenomena Chris started his own paranormal team to help others that are seeking professional help. That same year with the debut of the ORBS website www.bandedspirits.com the team has been called out to investigate several historical landmarks and a dozen residential homes. With a successful 2007 the team was looking for more much needed help.
In 2008 with the incredibly high volume of cases the founders decided to search for someone to help the organization that’s when Project Manager, Karlo Zuzic jumped on board with ORBS with all the pieces in place the nucleus was complete. Surrounding themselves with many talented investigators, Psychics and with the assistance from Pastors to Bishops and the use of some of the most sophisticated equipment the team was running at full throttle with many high profile cases such as ships and museums and helping run charity fundraisers for the historical societies the team was fast becoming Ohio’s top paranormal team.
With 2009 ORBS had put together many new projects with the launch of the all talk internet paranormal show called “ Forgotten Voices Radio “ and with the thought of creating a different project ORBS started www.Hauntedvehicles.com this is the nations first full documentary into a new paranormal twist, Haunted Vehicles. The next big step for ORBS was to bring their talents to national television network. A new paranormal television series on Animal Planet’s network entitled “ The Haunted “ was searching for cases involving personal haunting and how the pets are being affected by the phenomena with the team having two of their cases “ Lady in White “ and “Thump in the Night “ featured on season one of Animal Planet’s top rated series.
With the overwhelmingly satisfied success of season one of “ The Haunted ’, in 2010 the network asked ORBS to help out on a case in Saranac Lake, New York for season two titled “ Touch of Death “ and was reported to be one of the top rated episodes for the season. Also in 2011/2012 the team had three stories featured on Biography Channel show My Ghost Story.
With 2012 over and 2013 starting the goal to why this team was started is to be there for the people who need their help, ORBS never says no to anyone and provides a helping hand. It’s a turning of a page for the team because there is a noticeable maturity for each team member by learning and helping to all in need and overall there’s a real sense we are opening a new chapter so this story and this journey still continues…..as the Orbs team is the first in the world to document, research and investigate Haunted Vehicles. Dual investigation with Solitary time we seek out America’s Haunted Icons….not only homes are haunted anymore.
